About The Position

At Love’s, cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, and help maintain clean work areas. Duties may vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role may include cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete and balance customer transactions at the cash register, offer additional sales opportunities, and follow state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
