About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Retail Cashiers to work at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The Retail Cashier manages transactions while providing excellent guest service. Delaware North is the arena’s concessions and retail partner and operates concession outlets and four clubs.

Requirements

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to accurately handle money and count change.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the entire length of a shift.
• Ability to climb stairs and use a step stool frequently.
• Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate a point-of-sale system.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, and assist whenever possible.
• Process sales using a point-of-sale system and bag merchandise.
• Maintain records related to sales.
• Routinely stock merchandise and maintain back-stock.
• Verify the amount of the bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
