About The Position

The Retail Backroom (Production) Associate processes donated softlines and other items by sorting them into sellable, salvage, or trash categories; pricing items using a guide; and identifying high-value goods. The associate meets daily production goals and quality standards, transports items to the sales floor, and stocks, rotates, and displays merchandise. The role also includes keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe; moving items to the compactor or dumpster as needed; and assisting at the donation door.

Requirements

• Be detail-oriented and efficient.
• Be a team player willing to perform hands-on work.
• Be physically capable of regularly lifting and moving donations.
• Be able to assess item quality and value.
• Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work.
• Be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into sellable, salvage, or trash categories.
• Price items using the provided guide and identify high-value goods.
• Meet daily production goals and quality standards.
• Transport donations to the sales floor, then stock, rotate, and display items.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Transport items to the compactor or dumpster as needed.
• Assist at the donation door and move donations as needed.
