Retail Backroom (Production) Associate - Softlines
About The Position
The Retail Backroom (Production) Associate sorts donated goods into sellable, salvage, or trash categories; prices items using a guide and identifies high-value goods; and meets daily production and quality goals. The role transports donations to the sales floor, stocks, rotates, and displays merchandise, and keeps work areas clean, organized, and safe. The associate may also move items to the compactor or dumpster, assist at the donation door, and move incoming donations. Full-time hires must attend a full-day orientation in Buffalo. Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
Requirements
- Ability to assess item quality and value.
- Reliable and punctual, and ready to work.
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
- Detail-oriented and efficient.
- A team player willing to do hands-on work.
