About The Position

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety division is hiring temporary/on-call Retail Associates for Campus Dining at Duncan Student Center. The role provides customer service to guests while helping maintain a clean, fast, and friendly multi-unit dining environment. Associates may work in Chick-Fil-A, Hagerty Café, or ABP and contribute to food preparation, inventory, retail operations, and sanitation.

Requirements

Available to work during home football games.
Able to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
Positive, respectful, and excellent communication and listening skills.
Able to stand for extended periods, up to six hours at a time.
Able to follow food-safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Follow Chick-Fil-A daily production lists and brand training accurately.
Prepare food and assist with food preparation as needed.
Stock and load vans for deliveries.
Prepare upcoming orders and work in a high-volume quick-service location.
Wash dishes and maintain eating areas within the unit.
Perform tasks related to retail, safety, and sanitation of food-service facilities.
Stock and rotate food inventories.
Operate order and point-of-sale equipment.
Follow food-safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.
