About The Position

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety division is hiring temporary/on-call Retail Associates for Campus Dining at Duncan Student Center. The role provides customer service to guests and helps maintain a clean, fast, and friendly multi-unit dining environment. Associates may work at Chick-Fil-A, Hagerty Café, and ABP, preparing food, supporting orders, stocking supplies, maintaining dining areas, and following food safety and sanitation procedures. The schedule is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and associates must be available to work during home football games. Pay is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Available to work during home football games.
Able to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
Positive, respectful demeanor and excellent communication and listening skills.
Able to stand for extended periods, up to six hours at a time.
Able to follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and assist guests in a fast-paced dining environment.
At Chick-Fil-A, follow daily production lists according to brand training.
Prepare food and assist with food preparation as needed.
Stock and load vans for deliveries.
Prepare upcoming orders and work in a high-volume quick-service location.
Wash dishes and maintain eating areas within the unit.
Stock and rotate food inventories.
Operate ordering and point-of-sale equipment.
Perform retail, safety, and food-service facility sanitation tasks.
Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.
