About The Position

Simply Southern is hiring a part-time Retail Associate for its North Georgia store in Dawsonville, Georgia. The role provides enthusiastic customer service while customers shop and purchase products, helping ensure each customer has a positive experience. The associate learns about customers’ needs and suggestively sells products they may enjoy, while representing the company’s vision, mission, and values. Retail experience is preferred but not required. Flexible availability is requested.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to stand and walk for 4–10 hours a day.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
Basic math skills.
Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
Flexible availability is requested.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience is preferred but not required.
High school or equivalent education is preferred.
One year of customer service experience is preferred.
