Retail Associate Part-Time KEY
About The Position
Simply Southern is hiring a part-time Retail Associate at its Charlotte, North Carolina store. The role provides enthusiastic customer service while customers shop and purchase products, helping ensure every customer has a wonderful experience. The associate learns about customers’ needs and suggestively sells items they may enjoy, while understanding and bringing to life the company’s vision, mission, and values. Retail experience is preferred but not necessary, and flexible availability is requested. Work is in person. The posting lists a salary range of $14.00–$14.50 per hour in the job details and $13.00–$14.00 per hour in the job-type section.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to stand and walk for 4–10 hours a day.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
