About The Position

Simply Southern is hiring a part-time Retail Associate for its Charleston–North Charleston, South Carolina location. The role provides enthusiastic customer service as customers shop and purchase products, helping ensure each customer has a positive experience. Associates learn about customers’ needs and suggest products they may enjoy, while representing Simply Southern’s Vision, Mission, and Values. Retail experience is preferred but not required. Flexible availability is requested. The position is in person and pays $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to stand and walk for 4–10 hours a day.
Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
Basic math skills.
Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
Flexible availability.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of customer service experience preferred.
