About The Position

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club is hiring a seasonal Retail Associate to provide memorable shopping experiences for resort guests. The position is expected to run until April 2027 or possibly longer. The resort is located in Dana Point, California, on 175 acres atop a seaside bluff and has more than 400 rooms, meeting spaces, and multiple food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Highlight promotions and recommend products to improve the guest experience and maximize profitability.
• Provide guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing so customers can make informed purchases.
• Accurately total and process guest payments using the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit and debit cards, change, and gift certificates or cards.
• Wrap merchandise and prepare orders for shipment.
• Assist with stock management and maintaining proper merchandise supply levels.
