About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Retail Associates to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. Retail Associates help create a welcoming and organized shopping and donation experience, keep stores running efficiently, and support community programs. The role involves customer and donor service, register operations, donation handling, processing and merchandising donated goods, and supporting daily store goals. Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to support a team environment.

• Some retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers and donors with professionalism and positivity.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
