TJMaxx Indian Land Part Time Retail Associate
About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates uphold TJX customer experience practices and a positive store culture while supporting merchandising, store recovery, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The position is part-time at the TJ Maxx store at 7804 Charlotte Hwy, Fort Mill, South Carolina. The starting pay range is USD $13.00 to $13.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas to support business needs.
