Retail Associate - Mason City - Part-time
About The Position
Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking Retail Associates to provide customers with an exemplary experience and atmosphere through outstanding customer service and by maintaining a clean, inviting, and shoppable store. The role includes processing sales transactions and donated goods, stocking merchandise, and maintaining cash register supplies. The position is part-time and pays $15.00 per hour. Goodwill describes its compensation approach as performance-based, competitive with organizations with similar missions, and commensurate with the employee’s level of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Ring up sales transactions appropriately, collect and count monies, and provide correct change.
- Maintain cash register supplies.
- Stock and rotate goods on the sales floor.
- Accept donated items safely, courteously, and efficiently according to store guidelines.
- Process donated items to produce inventory for the sales floor.
