About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations and help bridge gaps in care. Physicians visit health plan members in their homes, build trusted relationships, and provide flexible, comprehensive, personalized evaluations. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and a clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or change a member’s current treatment regimen.

The role involves local travel and travel within licensed states as needed, as well as virtual visits when needed. The primary workplace is members’ private residences. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants; candidates must be able to perform duties comfortably and safely in these settings.

The position is part time, with 29.5 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $105.00 per hour. Part-time employees qualify for select benefits and malpractice insurance coverage during Signify Health-related activities, as well as supplies and other perks. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.

Requirements

• Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the coverage area(s).
• Be able to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home health evaluations, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
• Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by a member’s health plan, including services such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screening.
• Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
• Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Provide Signify Health services, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.
• Help connect members with appropriate care and support improved health outcomes.
