About The Position

Jungle Boys is seeking a Retail Associate to support its brand and provide Florida patients with a high-quality medical cannabis experience. The role is suited to someone with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who takes pride in the brand, approaches learning new roles positively, adapts to change, and enjoys collaborating with others. Work is performed in a retail environment with a usually moderate noise level. The employee is frequently required to remain stationary, move and position oneself, communicate, operate and prepare, and place or position objects, tools, or controls. The role occasionally involves moving packages weighing up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close observation and adjusting focus. The physical and mental requirements must be met, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the essential functions successfully. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Must undergo a criminal background check and obtain appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in cannabis, retail sales, or the hospitality service industry.
• Cashier and cash-handling experience.
• Experience with customer-facing sales interactions.
• Desire to continually learn about the cannabis plant and its properties.
• Open availability, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and inventory management software.
• Ability to meet the role's physical and mental requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, including occasionally moving packages weighing up to 20 pounds.
