About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. is seeking a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for its Carrollton, Georgia retail store. The role greets donors, receives and organizes donated goods, records donations, and helps keep the work area clean. The employee will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.

This is a part-time position averaging 20–25 hours per week. Hours and operating days fluctuate based on business needs, seasonal changes, donation volumes, and store location. The employee must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Average math skills.
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a retail or customer service-related environment.
• Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Receive donated goods by unloading vehicles and carrying donated items inside.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organize donations into bins to support accurate processing.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep the work area neat and clean.
• Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations.
• Work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
• Learn and work in all areas of the retail operation through cross-training.
