About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join a team in the Retail Trade industry. The role assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, sales goals, and exceptional customer service. It also involves managing and training sales associates to meet performance targets and deliver excellent customer service. The position calls for strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and an understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Experience with retail sales and customer service.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
• Ensure sales goals are met and the store meets its financial targets.
• Manage and train sales associates to meet performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring new sales associates.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with industry trends.
