About The Position

SERVPRO of South Palm Beach is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief to lead restoration projects in the field, direct Restoration Technicians, communicate with customers, and ensure each job is completed safely, professionally, and to SERVPRO standards. This is a hands-on field position for a motivated and dependable restoration professional who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with the company. The role involves leading and performing water, fire, mold, and other restoration services; coordinating job-site activities; managing project resources; and maintaining job documentation. The Crew Chief also communicates with customers, Project Managers, and office staff, while helping train and develop technicians. The company offers a starting hourly rate of $23–$25, depending on experience, benefits, training, certification opportunities, and potential career advancement.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
At least 2 years of experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, or a related field.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to lead others and take ownership of assigned projects.
Dependable and organized, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Able to regularly lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Able to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials.
Able to safely work with and around cleaning and restoration products.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience leading a crew or running restoration jobs.
IICRC certification.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and other restoration services.
Coordinate daily job-site activities and supervise Restoration Technicians.
Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets SERVPRO quality standards.
Provide customers with clear, professional communication throughout the project.
Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, equipment, and work performed.
Manage labor, equipment, materials, and consumables on assigned projects.
Communicate job progress, changes, and issues with Project Managers and office staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
Protect and properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and other assets.
Train, coach, and develop Restoration Technicians.
Follow SERVPRO procedures and OSHA safety requirements.
