About The Position

SERVPRO of South Palm Beach is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief to lead restoration projects in the field. The Crew Chief directs Restoration Technicians, communicates with customers, and ensures that work is completed safely, professionally, efficiently, and to SERVPRO standards. This hands-on role involves water, fire, mold, and other restoration services, job-site coordination, documentation, resource management, and crew development. The position offers opportunities for training, certification, career advancement, and greater leadership responsibility.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, or a related field.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to lead others and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Dependable and organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials.
• Ability to safely work with and around cleaning and restoration products.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience leading a crew or running restoration jobs.
• IICRC certification.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and other restoration services.
• Coordinate daily job-site activities and supervise Restoration Technicians.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets SERVPRO quality standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout projects.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, equipment, and work performed.
• Manage labor, equipment, materials, and consumables on assigned projects.
• Communicate job progress, changes, and issues with Project Managers and office staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
• Protect and properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and other assets.
• Train, coach, and develop Restoration Technicians.
• Follow SERVPRO procedures and OSHA safety requirements.
