Restaurant Team Member
About The Position
Restaurant Team Members help deliver efficient, friendly customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, respond to customer needs, process payments, and prepare orders safely from the kitchen stations used by the restaurant. They also maintain clean and sanitized work areas and use food-safety methods and technologies to ensure customers receive fresh, safe food. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service, take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Balance the cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at kitchen stations such as the sandwich line, fry station, or grill station, as applicable to the restaurant concept.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain proper food-safety conditions and deliver fresh, safe products.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
