About The Position

A Jimmy John’s Restaurant Team Member greets customers as they enter and exit the restaurant, provides customer service, and prepares fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining sanitation standards. The role also involves taking and processing customer orders and payments, handling telephone and mobile orders, and maintaining a professional appearance and positive approach to assignments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches.
• Comply with portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures.
• Pass a sandwich test at the end of the first two weeks of employment and at future testing times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant, including tables, floors, windows, the beverage station, and restrooms.
• Greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, collect payments, and make change.
• Provide genuine greetings and farewells.
• Take telephone and mobile orders and complete delivery tickets.
• Complete systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code.
• Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to assignments.
• Perform other related duties as required.
