About The Position
Chuze Fitness is seeking a Team Member to help create welcoming experiences for current and prospective members. The role focuses on hospitality, community, and maintaining a clean, well-presented gym. Team members greet members and guests, provide information and tours, assist with membership transactions and concerns, and maintain knowledge of the gym’s amenities, programs, and equipment. Depending on the location, the role may also include making and serving smoothies. The pay range is $15.35–$16.30 per hour. Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
- Able to walk and climb stairs while touring the gym.
- Able to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Able to operate a computer.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Welcome, greet, and interact with members, prospective members, and guests.
- Provide membership information and facilitate gym tours.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks and maintain an exceptionally clean gym presentation.
- Process membership sign-ups and point-of-sale transactions, answer phones, and address member concerns.
- Assist with billing issues and disputes, escalating them to leadership when needed.
- Regularly review and complete training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain knowledge of and assist members with amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions.
- Make and serve smoothies, where applicable, according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
