Restaurant Team Member
About The Position
Restaurant Team Members provide efficient, friendly customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, address customer needs, process payments, and prepare orders at kitchen stations. They help maintain a clean and sanitized work area and use food-safety methods and technologies to ensure customers receive fresh, safe food. No experience is required; training is provided. Team Members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including taking food orders, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance the cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at kitchen stations such as the sandwich line, fry station, and grill station, depending on the restaurant concept.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Use methods and technologies to ensure proper food-safety conditions and provide fresh, safe food.
- Cross-train in other departments, potentially including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
