About The Position
CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge, located within The Study at University City, is seeking energetic and service-oriented Restaurant Support team members to join our front-of-house team. This role supports overall restaurant operations by assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a seamless, efficient guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering attentive and guest-focused service. Our caring and attentive associates reinforce our belief that guest service is our highest priority. We seek individuals who take pride in teamwork, efficiency, and creating a welcoming dining experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English required; a second language is a plus.
- Ability to lift or carry items up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.

Responsibilities
- Support servers by efficiently clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and promptly.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations.
- Complete side work throughout the shift, including polishing glassware and silverware, restocking supplies, and maintaining par levels.
- Assist the host team with greeting and seating guests as needed.
- Support room service delivery and to-go orders.
- Maintain awareness of VIP guests and special requests.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
