Busser/Runner
About The Position
The Busser/Runner supports restaurant and bar operations by maintaining clean, organized service areas and helping provide guests with timely, attentive service. The role includes clearing and resetting tables, refilling beverages, polishing silverware, assisting guests with the PopStroke mobile ordering app, and running food from the kitchen to the correct tables while meeting customer service, accuracy, and presentation standards. Team members use technology to complete food pickup and drop-off efficiently. The position also involves keeping restaurant areas—including gaming areas and restrooms—clean and restocked; assisting with opening and closing tasks; and collaborating with coworkers to support seamless service. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables.
- Must be able to safely use a ladder.
Responsibilities
- Support restaurant and bar operations.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables; refill beverages; and polish silverware.
- Assist guests with the PopStroke mobile ordering app.
- Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner while meeting customer service, accuracy, and presentation standards.
- Use technology accurately to complete food pickup and drop-off service efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in all restaurant areas, including the gaming area and restrooms, and restock service stations and restrooms.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning or stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture, and removing trash.
- Provide friendly, attentive service and respond promptly to guest requests.
- Uphold safety and sanitation principles.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient, seamless service.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
