About The Position

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the front-of-house restaurant and bar teams and assists with catering operations. The role involves supporting guest service, training and coaching staff, supervising shifts, maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety requirements, and helping ensure the restaurant meets hotel standards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Approach guest and employee interactions in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Respond efficiently and accurately to guest complaints.
Assist with ongoing training of servers, bartenders, and bussers to support high-quality service.
Communicate information and ideas clearly and work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.
Ensure the front-of-house restaurant and bar comply with local and state codes regarding sanitation, safety, and work rules.
Supervise individual shifts and help ensure dining guests receive service that meets hotel standards.
Supervise and staff according to staffing guidelines and the training manual.
Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet business demands.
Maintain knowledge of restaurant food and drink offerings and activities and services in the surrounding area.
Ensure completion of department daily and weekly checklists.
Provide staff with timely performance feedback.
Ensure staff know the correct use and care of department equipment.
Inspect public areas daily for cleanliness and assign projects as needed.
Ensure chemicals are correctly used, labeled, and stored.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with catering operations.
