About The Position

The Server is responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for guests at Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The role involves welcoming guests, helping them navigate the menu, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and providing attentive, personalized service in a fast-paced environment. Servers coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, maintain a clean dining area, and process payments accurately. The position requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Requirements

Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of serving experience is preferred.
