About The Position

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Restaurant Server for Honeycomb Grill to provide prompt, friendly service and support guests throughout their dining experience. The server sells menu items, enters orders, coordinates order timing with the kitchen, and anticipates guests’ needs. The role works with the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers, and includes setting up and closing the restaurant. The position is seasonal and hourly, with full-time or part-time scheduling indicated in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system.
• Know the menu, make recommendations, and answer guests’ questions.
• Set up the restaurant for food service, including setting tables with linens, silverware, and stemware.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule customer reservations.
• Assist the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers as needed, and complete additional tasks such as shoveling the patio.
• Close and clean the restaurant and prepare it for food service the next day.
• Sell menu items, place orders with the kitchen, and help ensure orders are delivered with proper timing.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide prompt, friendly service.
