About The Position

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a creative and passionate bartender to join its Food and Beverage team at Honeycomb Grill in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. The bartender communicates with customers, serves classic cocktails and new beverages, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The role includes taking and serving orders, making recommendations, maintaining bar cleanliness and inventory, managing customer tabs and daily tracking, and balancing the bank at the end of each shift. The position is classified as part-time, seasonal, and hourly.

Requirements

• Be professional, friendly, efficient, and outgoing.
• Keep a clean and organized environment.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have knowledge of or experience with bar equipment and mixing drinks.
• Be able to work at a quick pace, multitask, and quickly recall information.
• Hold a Sips n Tips Certification.
• Hold a Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Collect and serve customers’ food and drink orders using the InfoGenesis system.
• Create and maintain a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar.
• Maintain beer, wine, and liquor inventory.
• Offer recommendations or suggestions to customers.
• Verify identification for customers who appear to be under age 35.
• Log and track BERG numbers daily, including spillage and misclicks.
• Track customer bar tabs and BERG system numbers daily.
• Balance the bank at the end of each shift.
• Assist guests with information about the resort and local area.
• Build rapport with travelers, locals, and regular patrons.
• Greet customers, learn their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages.
