About The Position

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a creative and passionate bartender to join its Food and Beverage team in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. The bartender serves classic cocktails and new beverages, greets customers, learns their preferences, answers questions, recommends menu items, and prepares and serves drinks. The role also involves maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing bar inventory and tabs, tracking BERG numbers, and balancing the bank at the end of each shift. This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position at Honeycomb Grill.

Requirements

• Must be professional, friendly, efficient, and outgoing.
• Must keep a clean and organized environment.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must have knowledge of or experience with bar equipment and mixing drinks.
• Must be able to work at a quick pace, multitask, and quickly recall information.
• Sips n Tips Certification.
• Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Collect and serve customers' food and drink orders using the InfoGenesis system.
• Create and maintain a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar.
• Maintain beer, wine, and liquor inventory.
• Offer recommendations or suggestions.
• Verify IDs of customers who appear to be under age 35.
• Log and track BERG numbers daily, including spillage and misclicks.
• Track customers' bar tabs and BERG system numbers daily.
• Balance the bank at the end of each shift.
• Assist guests with information about the resort and local area.
• Build rapport with travelers, locals, and regular patrons.
• Communicate effectively while serving beverages.
