About The Position

The Restaurant Server provides exceptional table service by delivering food and beverages, anticipating guest needs, and creating a warm and memorable dining experience. The role contributes to the restaurant’s atmosphere, guest satisfaction, and overall success. The server greets guests, takes and serves orders, offers menu recommendations, processes payments, communicates requests to the kitchen or bar, and helps maintain clean, stocked dining areas. The position also involves supporting coordinated service, addressing guest concerns, completing opening and closing tasks, attending required training and meetings, and performing other assigned duties. Schedules may vary to reflect business needs.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with POS systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge and offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
