Restaurant & Operations Manager
About The Position
The Restaurant & Operations Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results and exceed the guest experience. The role oversees all aspects of the business, from minor details to the big picture, in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The position involves working an average of 50 hours per week, walking approximately five miles per shift, and handling busy days. Managers develop and lead hourly team members, build memorable guest experiences, and collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality, timely results.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Proficient in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
- Ability to lead a team in creating a memorable guest experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
- Able to handle busy operating days and walk approximately five miles per shift while working an average of 50 hours per week.
- Ability to oversee all aspects of the business, from minor details to the big picture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead hourly team members to exceed guest expectations.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership by ensuring positive staff and guest experiences through personal interactions.
- Support recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and ongoing professional development for guest-service-focused team members.
- Live the company’s core values and lead others to do so.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results.
- Oversee business operations, including cost of goods sold and labor management.
