About The Position

Emery Hotel, Autograph Collection, is seeking a passionate, guest-focused Restaurant Maitre De to help provide an exceptional dining experience. The role assists the Restaurant Manager with staff training and development and oversees the restaurant’s daily operations, staff, and service delivery. The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, strong leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. The position is at Emery Hotel in Minneapolis, part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott. The posted pay range is $25.00–$28.00 per hour. Pre-employment drug testing and a background check are required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
Prior cash-handling experience and experience with the MICROS POS system.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe certification preferred.
