About The Position
Major Food Group is hiring a Maitre D to join the team at ZZ's Club, an exclusive private membership club that originated in Miami. ZZ's Club is a modern social space for members who expect exceptional culinary experiences, hospitality, and entertainment, with precise execution and careful attention to detail. The role is suited to an experienced candidate who is prepared to work hard and contribute to a distinctive hospitality environment.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of restaurant experience in high-volume and fine-dining restaurants.
- At least 2 years of experience leading a front-door team.
- Full availability is required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Maitre D experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Oversee dining room operations.
- Manage customer relations and ensure guests receive impeccable service.
- Greet customers and guide them to their tables.
- Answer customer questions about food, drinks, and specials.
- Help manage the flow of guests into and out of the restaurant.
- Engage guests and represent the restaurant through strong personality and knowledge.
- Resolve customer complaints or disputes.
- Manage waitstaff to support efficient, excellent service throughout each seating.
