About The Position
The Line Cook - Hot Side Team Member prepares, produces, and serves visually appealing, high-quality food on the hot side of the line. Work is primarily at the Bowls, Carve/Grill, Soup, and Braise stations and follows Urban Plates recipes and procedures. The role is part of a scratch-cooking restaurant operation serving made-to-order food with quality ingredients. Urban Plates offers paid position training, opportunities for cross-training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement and career development. The position is offered as full-time or part-time. Team members receive an hourly base rate plus tips for every hour worked and may earn additional compensation through the Team Member recognition program. The restaurant environment features an open kitchen and an energetic, casual neighborhood-restaurant atmosphere.
