About The Position

The Restaurant Host role is a winter seasonal position at a mountain resort. Team members support food and beverage operations, develop varied skills in a dynamic environment, and help deliver a positive experience for guests and fellow employees by following the company’s core values. Restaurant Crew team members may also work across multiple resort departments and roles as needed.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
No formal experience is needed; the employer will teach the necessary skills to perform the job safely.
Desire to learn and grow.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, and lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Build connections with guests and co-workers.
Share a passion for the mountains during service.
Follow leadership guidelines provided during daily pre-shift meetings.
Set up beverage stations and food displays.
Operate the cash register.
Greet guests and bus tables.
Keep workstations clean and tidy throughout and at the end of the workday.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support other departments and roles as needed, potentially including Mountain Activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage Support, ticket sales or scanning, Lift Operations, and Base Area Operations.
