About The Position

As a Host/Hostess at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will help provide Owners and guests with experiences and events that create memorable vacation memories. The role is based at an AAA Four Diamond Resort and involves welcoming guests, coordinating seating, preparing dining settings, and monitoring dining areas for guest service, safety, and well-being. Associates are expected to interact professionally with colleagues and guests, contribute to team goals, and follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
May be required to undergo background and drug screening, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Seat guests at clean, available tables; arrange chairs and provide clean, current menus.
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings, and organize seating for groups with special needs while minimizing disturbance to other guests.
Greet guests and determine the number of people in their party.
Ensure place settings are appropriate and that guests have napkins, clean silverware, and standard setting items.
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Anticipate and address guest needs.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
