About The Position

The Host/Hostess at Louette, an all-day, brasserie-inspired American restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, helps create memorable dining experiences through attentive, personalized service and thoughtful attention to detail. The role supports the restaurant’s polished, welcoming atmosphere and delivers the elevated hospitality associated with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.

The position includes preparing and maintaining guest-ready tables and service areas, serving food and beverages, coordinating with kitchen and service colleagues, and maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards. The Host/Hostess is expected to anticipate guest needs, use good judgment, follow company and safety procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and collaborate with the restaurant team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain tables and service areas to create an inviting, guest-ready environment.
• Serve food and beverages while engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and providing attentive, personalized service.
• Communicate and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and supplies to established cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support guests, the team, and the overall operation.
• Take initiative and use good judgment to anticipate guest needs and resolve service needs in the moment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety practices, and established quality standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demonstrate elevated communication and service standards.
• Work collaboratively across the restaurant team to deliver consistent, efficient service.
