About The Position

The Restaurant Host/Cashier works in a fast-paced casino restaurant environment and helps create memorable dining experiences. The role serves as a first and sometimes last point of contact for guests, providing menus, answering questions, suggesting food and service options, and responding to guest needs. The position also supports food and beverage team members by keeping dining areas clean, organized, replenished, and ready for service. The role requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves standing, walking, and carrying trays for extended periods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain a Class II Gaming License through the PGST Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Obtain a Washington State Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment.
• Obtain a Class 12 or 13 Alcohol Server Permit within 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to accurately remember or record orders.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry at a casino and/or hotel.
• Basic familiarity with POS or restaurant billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Present menus, answer guest questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Keep menus clean and organized.
• Observe diners, respond to additional requests, and determine when meals are complete.
• Support food and beverage team members in keeping dining areas clean, organized, replenished, and ready for service.
