About The Position

Marco’s Pizza is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented Restaurant General Manager who is passionate about people and results. The General Manager leads and develops people to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales, and control restaurant costs. Hoogland Restaurant Group, the largest Marco’s Pizza franchise owner in the United States with more than 100 locations, offers opportunities for professional and personal growth.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willingness to work about 50 hours per week, including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco’s leadership behaviors and values.
• Create a workplace environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain, and develop employees.
• Source and interview store employees, assessing their alignment with company values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures.
• Ensure human resources processes are followed, including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with the Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Maintain standards for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain appropriate inventory par levels and ordering processes.
• Complete weekly inventory and end-of-period inventory.
• Complete inventory reporting and ensure inventory par levels and ordering processes are maintained.
• Create store Action Plans, including marketing, to continuously improve the business.
• Manage weekly KPIs and plans to achieve goals.
• Ensure the store and exterior property are maintained.
• Ensure security and verification procedures are followed when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Lead and develop the team to build sales and control restaurant costs.
