Restaurant General Manager
About The Position
Shake Shack is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead restaurant operations and develop team members while delivering excellent hospitality. The role oversees inventory, quality, safety, budgets, financial performance, payroll, and scheduling. The General Manager implements company policies and procedures, supports compliance with local and state health and safety codes, and promotes the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events. Requirements
- At least 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
- Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
- Strong leadership skills focused on coaching and achieving excellence.
- Knowledge of the financial aspects of business operations.
- At least 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
