About The Position

The Restaurant Busser helps maintain clean, orderly dining areas and supports restaurant service by resetting tables, clearing dishes, stocking bussing stations, and communicating table availability to hosts, hostesses, and managers. The role requires following sanitation standards and maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor. Bussers are also expected to be knowledgeable about the food and beverages offered and to know and follow the Hey Y’all guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to clean and set tables to restaurant standards.
• Ability to deposit dishes in the dish room or specified area.
• Ability to assist with pre-bussing while guests are seated.
• Ability to stock bussing stations and sweep dining areas.
• Ability to follow sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate open tables clearly to hosts, hostesses, and managers.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of the food and beverages offered.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow the Hey Y’all guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and set tables to restaurant standards.
• Deposit dishes in the dish room or other specified area.
• Assist with pre-bussing dirty plates while guests are still seated.
• Stock bussing stations.
• Sweep underneath and around tables before guests are seated.
• Follow sanitation standards while cleaning.
• Clearly communicate open tables to the host or hostess and managers.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working.
• Be knowledgeable about the food and beverages offered.
• Know and follow the Hey Y’all guidelines.
