About The Position

The Restaurant Bartender crafts and serves beverages while helping guests feel welcome and cared for. The role includes responsible alcohol service, maintaining and restocking the bar, completing opening and closing duties, handling cash and tip reporting, and following sanitation and food safety standards. The position is based at the Norfolk Sheraton in Norfolk, Virginia, and offers full-time work with compensation of $8.49–$8.91. Pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of bartending experience; a hospitality background is preferred.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or willingness to complete them within 60 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Friendly, energetic personality and strong professionalism.
