About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender for Double Cut Steak House and Redd's Piano Bar. The role involves taking guest orders, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quantity specifications, processing payments, and working collaboratively to provide high-standard service. Bartenders provide friendly, responsive, and consistent service to create an exceptional food and beverage experience for guests. The position is listed at $7.25 per hour.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of prior bartending experience in a restaurant or resort setting.
• RAMP Certification is required.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, explain specials, provide menu and beverage tours, recommend items and drinks, and advise guests about menu changes.
• Maintain working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, common drink recipes, and preparation methods.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, restaurant functions and services, and resort services and activities.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system for transmission to the kitchen and bar.
• Prepare drinks using Kalahari recipes and quantity specifications.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to guests promptly using appropriate service trays.
• Finalize guest payments.
• Work collaboratively to ensure guests receive attentive service.
