About The Position

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run a high-volume, quick-service restaurant within a travel center. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager in managing restaurant operations and may fill in for the General Manager. It includes supporting team members and overseeing food service, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least one year of food service management experience.
• Excellent team leadership and customer service skills.
• Integrity and accountability at the managerial level.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist the General Manager in selecting, coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Direct and assign work to team members.
• Create a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Help ensure high guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
