About The Position

At Love’s, Restaurant Assistant Managers help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. They assist with leading staff, managing processes, and executing strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. The role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager, maintaining safe and clean facilities, managing inventory and food preparation, and helping deliver timely customer service. The position offers a dynamic team environment and opportunities for career development.

Requirements

Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
At least 1 year managing operations with annual sales volume of $1 million or more.
At least 1 year working with budgets and profit and loss statements.
At least 1 year supervising and training 5–10 or more employees.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT physical.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong customer service, rapport-building, sales, and operational skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Effective teamwork skills.
Ability to use computer programs, systems, and technology tools in daily operations.
Ability to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance and adherence to food safety procedures.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution and completion, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders promptly and meet customer service expectations.
Understand financial reporting, analyze profit and loss statements, and make changes to capture opportunities.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
