About The Position

The Restaurant Assistant Manager leads and supports the team at an IHOP restaurant, helping deliver excellent customer service and ensure food is prepared and served well. The role includes setting the tone for the shift during a team huddle, coordinating kitchen operations, managing busy service periods, keeping the team energized, and reviewing performance at the end of the day. The position is full-time and involves a mix of shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience and/or training.

• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team huddle at the start of a shift and set expectations for service.
• Coordinate kitchen operations and help ensure dishes are prepared and served properly.
