About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed Response Security Officer for a site in Decatur, Georgia. The role involves responding to emergency callouts and coverage needs, patrolling sensitive environments, controlling access, identifying potential risks, and protecting people and property. The officer must be physically able to stand and walk throughout the shift and remain available across all shifts and days, including weekends. Weekly hours vary, and overtime is required as needed. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 2–5 years of law enforcement or military experience.
• 2–5 years of armed security experience.
• Open availability for all shifts and days, including weekends, and ability to respond to emergency coverage.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process, background check, and drug screening.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
