About The Position

This part-time respite provider role supports a child who enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and going for long walks and runs. The provider should be caring, dependable, energetic, attentive, and patient, and should help create a safe and enjoyable environment while providing close supervision. The position is approximately 10 hours per week and pays $14.13 per hour, plus $0.76 per mile when the child is in the vehicle. The Member or their Managing Party is the legal employer and has sole authority to hire or dismiss the provider; Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
• Comfort working with a child who has sensory sensitivities.
• Comfort being active and participating in outdoor activities, including long walks and runs.
• Ability to provide close supervision and remain attentive to the child's needs and surroundings.
• Willingness to learn how to use a G-Button.

Responsibilities
