About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor provides compassionate respiratory care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role supports patients facing respiratory challenges and contributes to their rehabilitation, well-being, and progress toward independence. The supervisor provides direct care, oversees respiratory care and breathing treatments, leads patient assessments, develops personalized care plans, and addresses patient concerns. The position also involves building supportive relationships with patients and recognizing their recovery milestones.

Requirements

• Current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients who need medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication.
• Supervise patient care and breathing treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs in support of recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress.
